2003 Four Winds Chateau Sport 26Q - This is a well built Four Winds. This company has been building quality units for years and the coach's are built to last. This unit is built on the strong Super Duty chassis and is powered by the powerful Triton V10 motor that is running cool with plenty of oil pressure. The overdrive transmission shifts smoothly. We drove this coach approx. 1000 miles with no problems. I would drive this coach anywhere. Very nice appearing coach inside and out. This unit has a nice layout and makes great use of space. There is plenty of storage space in this unit. All systems check out fine in this unit. The roof airs that runs on electric if plugged into shore power or can run off electric the generator produces while traveling down the road is cold. The fridge that runs off electric from shore power or generator as well as propane that is stored under coach in a tank is cold. Plumbing and electric work fine as pictured. The Triton motor starts right up and has plenty of power. The automatic overdrive transmission shifts smoothly as it should. The brakes stop the coach on a dime. Very easy unit to drive and you do NOT need a cdl. All used units have negatives, lets talk about this ones: Tires have plenty of tread and we just rode on them appx. 1000 miles, but they do have cosmetic signs of sidewall dryness as pictured. We do clean all of our units; however, rarely as well as a new owner would. As I say about all the units we list, expect minor imperfections to address and some cleaning to bring a unit to your standards.
